Selected Project for the Art Worker Program 'CRAWL': The World Viewed from Kibera 'Slum' - From the 'Me' Who Has Been Told, to the 'Me' Who Tells.
Summary
Starting April 25, 2026, art center BUG will host a project selected through the 'CRAWL' program, organized by Miggy Sakata. The exhibition features over 100 photographs and films created by young artists from the Kibera slum in Nairobi, Kenya. By using cameras donated through the 'KIBERACTION' project, these creators aim to move beyond the stereotypical, external portrayals of their home, instead asserting themselves as primary narrators of their own lives, experiences, and community.
