The Tomakomai City Museum of Art will host an exhibition titled "From the Sky, From the Sea, From Underground" from September 12 to November 23, 2026. The exhibition features geological specimens—actual cross-sections of strata transferred onto cloth—that allow visitors to observe traces of tsunamis, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions.
In addition to the main exhibition, the museum will offer expert-led briefing sessions and a hands-on workshop for creating geological specimens. While the briefing sessions are open to the public without reservation, the workshop requires prior registration.
