On July 17, 2026, the newspaper club of Meiji University附属 Meiji High School and Junior High School visited Takatsu Decorative Arts Co., Ltd. in Kokuryo, Chofu, to conduct an interview. The company has long been engaged in movie prop rental services in Chofu and holds a top national share, symbolizing the city as "Movie Town Chofu." During the visit, the club interviewed staff members Sato and Sakuka about changes in the film industry, their dedication to and challenges with props, and difficulties experienced at overseas events. Afterwards, they were given a tour of the warehouse storing a vast collection of props from various eras and regions, which left them impressed. The newspaper club has been acting as the "Charm PR Division for Chofu" since the previous year, promoting the city's appeal. This interview was carried out in cooperation with Chofu City, and the report will be published in the school newspaper and later shared on the city's official Instagram account.
