The 76th Gakuten Art & Design Award will be held from August 6 to 16, 2026, at the National Art Center Tokyo in Roppongi, Tokyo. This open call exhibition, which has a history of over 70 years, brings together works by artists of all generations, from toddlers to art students, who will carry the next generation. This year, NANZUKA representative Masafumi Minatsuka has joined the jury, and a special video project titled 《Kankari Mazaru Sannichi》 (Three Days of Intertwining), featuring actor Koji Yakusho as a companion, will be implemented. This project focuses on the dialogue and relationships born through creation and the process of nurturing expression while interacting with others.
