Galleries participating in Art Collaboration Kyoto 2026 announced. First-time participants include Jeffrey Diatch and Hauser & Wirth.
Summary
The participating galleries for the modern art fair "Art Collaboration Kyoto (ACK) 2026" in Kyoto have been announced. The event will take place from November 7 to 9 at the National Kyoto International Conference Hall. Under the concept of "collaboration" established since its first edition in 2021, a total of 63 galleries from 18 countries and regions (24 cities) will gather in Kyoto. A key feature of ACK is the "Gallery Collaborations" section, where domestic and overseas galleries share a single booth. This unique format, which introduces artists through cross-border cooperation, is becoming established as a new model in art fairs. This year, 52 galleries participated in total, comprising 25 domestic host galleries and 27 overseas guest galleries. Various combinations were realized, such as ANOMALY (Tokyo) and Roland Ross (Margate), CON_ (Tokyo) and SEASON 4 EPISODE 6 (London), NANZUKA UNDERGROUND (Tokyo) and Jeffrey Diatch (New York), Nonaka-Hill (Kyoto) and Modern Art (London) and INGLEBY (Edinburgh), Takashi Ishii Gallery (Tokyo) and Carlos/Ishikawa (London), and TARO NASU (Tokyo) and Hauser & Wirth (Zurich). Exhibitions reflecting an international network will be presented.
