Beppu City Art Association Holds General Meeting – Today Newspaper

The Beppu City Art Association, chaired by Yoshihiro Hirano, held its general meeting on the 20th at the Beppu City Art Museum. In the officer elections, Beppu Mayor Yasuhiro Nagano was appointed honorary chairman, Teroka Teiji honorary vice‑chairman, Hirano retained as chairman, and vice‑chairmanships were filled by Kumiko Sato (Japanese painting), Kiyoyo Wada (Western painting), Mokuan Masuzoe (calligraphy), and Masatoshi Abe (crafts). The business plan for the year—including the 69th Beppu City Art Exhibition, the Oita Mirai Credit Union ONSEN Tourism award donation ceremony, the Beppu City Five Beauty Association exhibition, and other monthly events—was proposed and approved, as was the budget.
