As a special project for the exhibition "Tate Museum — YBA & BEYOND: 90s British Art that Changed the World," the Kyoto City KYOCERA Museum of Art will host an art workshop on August 11th. Led by artist and sculptor Teppei Kaneuji, the workshop titled "Making a New World Map by Connecting Various Lines" is designed for elementary school students and older.
Participants will engage in a collage-based activity, using maps and coloring books to create their own unique world maps, inspired by the creativity of the Young British Artists (YBA) movement. The workshop aims to provide a hands-on approach to the innovative spirit of 90s British art. Registration opens on July 14th via ARTPASS on a first-come, first-served basis.
